Promises for Peace Officers

Promises for Peace Officers cover of handbook

“Promises for Peace Officers” is a handbook of Bible Scriptures compiled specifically for peace officers. Scriptures are from the Old and New Testaments and are in the New King James version of the Bible.

Topics include issues officers face on a daily basis, plus truths about serving as officers of the law. Specific promises apply to myriad situations such as making arrests, testifying in court, applying discipline, receiving discipline, and dealing with the public.

The handbook is 4X6 inches and is small enough to easily carry along with other gear.

The idea for “Promises for Peace Officers” came about in 1987, which was when Judy began collecting appropriate verses as she read the Bible. At that time there were no computer short-cuts to access verses within a certain topic, and the initial process took several years.

When print on demand publishing became available it seemed the best option for such a niche book.
